Rubinstein I.A.'s birthday - a celebration of an outstanding RML team member!

Today, on May 17th, Ilya Alexandrovich Rubinstein, a senior researcher at the Radiation Monitoring Laboratory, celebrates his 89th birthday.

I.A. Rubinstein is a highly skilled professional in the area of development and design of instruments for space physics research. For many years, he has led a team of engineers and technicians at the laboratory.

Under the leadership of Ilya Alexandrovich, a range of scientific instruments for measuring cosmic radiation have been developed and installed aboard spacecraft (artificial satellite Electron, Lightning, Cosmos, Horizon, Express Gals, Universitetskiy-Tatiana, etc.). Also a number of new types of proton and electron spectrometer have been developed for use on artificial Earth satellites in the Meteor and Electro series, as well as the scientific equipment for an Arctic satellite.

Ilya Alexandrovich has consistently demonstrated a tireless work ethic, passionately pursuing his goals and applying all of his skills and expertise to his work.
