Launch of the VII Superfinal of the All-Russian Space Program «Guardian of the Planet»

🚀 Space is closer than you think!

On March 31, 2025, the VII Superfinal of the "Guardian of the Planet" program kicked off in Tatarstan—Russia’s flagship event in space education, bringing together talented schoolers and students from across the country.

One of the organizers is the Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics MSU. The programmer is led by Dmitry Pashkov from the Radiation Monitoring Laboratory.
The program’s scale is impressive:

  • 10,000+ applications from 89 Russian regions
  • Participants aged 12–17 from 33 regions
  • 7 competition tracksin the 2024/2025 academic year
  • Flagship project "Orbita — Space Pi", where participants:
  • Develop scientific space missions
  • Build and test CubeSat prototypes in the stratosphere
  • Create ground station hardware to control orbital satellites
  • Operate real satellites MONITOR-3 and MONITOR-4 (developed by SINP MSU)

🚀 Process satellite data
🚀 Program onboard systems
🚀 Special mission: "Girls in Space Engineering"
🚀 Control stratospheric satellites
🚀 Engineering challenges
