On August 21, the Space-π team visited the Prometheus Health and Wellness Complex in the Lipetsk Region for the second time, where they held lectures and workshops.
🕡 During the visit, Deputy Governor of the Lipetsk Region Yulia Kotlyarova and Space-π Project Office Head Lyudmila Savelyeva discussed further cooperation and new educational programs for schoolchildren.
Space-π Project Office Coordinator Anastasia Konygina spoke about the project’s satellites and the opportunities available to young people interested in space.
Together with Oleg Krivonosov, an ambassador of the Space-π Youth Department, the students assembled CubeSat models and designed orbital missions for them.
Dmitry Pashkov, Lead Engineer at the Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics of Moscow State University, held a workshop on radio communications. The schoolchildren built antennas and received data from the UmKA-1 and Vizard-Meteo satellites.
The youngest participants, together with SMM specialist Maria Polyakova, learned about careers in the space industry and drew professional cats that will be sent into orbit.
