Contact Achieved! 'Scorpion' Spacecraft Establishes Communication and Begins Orbital Operations

Great news from our team! The 'Scorpion' spacecraft, launched on December 28, has successfully reached orbit and immediately established contact with the ground control complex.

Current Mission Status:

  • 🛰 Stable Communication: The spacecraft is transmitting telemetry, confirming the operability of all onboard systems.
  • 🎛 Control Operational: 'Scorpion' is correctly responding to commands from Earth.
  • 📡 Data is Flowing: The process of collecting and transmitting the first housekeeping data has begun. Link to real-time status tracker.

👏 Congratulations on a Well-Deserved Success!

This moment is the result of many months of meticulous work. We sincerely congratulate:

  • The engineers and developers of the cubesat — for flawless technical execution.
  • The specialists of the ground control complex — for the masterful orbital insertion and communication establishment.
  • Our colleagues from SINP MSU — for creating the unique scientific payload, which will begin its experiment shortly.
  • All participants of the Space-π and "School Cosmos" projects — for realizing the educational mission.

🔬 What's Next?

The phase of in-orbit testing and verification of scientific instruments is ahead. We are one step away from the start of 'Scorpion's' core mission: monitoring the radiation environment, studying transient atmospheric phenomena, and conducting biological experiments.

This is our shared success!
Stay tuned for more news from orbit!
