The team of the Radiation Monitoring lab (rad-lab) at the Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics, Lomonosov Moscow State University (SINP MSU), joins the celebration! 🎉⚛️

Every day, Rad-lab specialists apply fundamental physical laws to solve applied problems:

• 🌞 Space weather physics — studying solar flares and their impact on Earth's magnetosphere and the radiation environment in near-Earth space
• ⚡ Cosmic ray physics — analyzing charged particle fluxes coming from the depths of the Universe
• 🛰️ Radiation physics — ensuring the safety of satellites and ISS crews, protecting electronics from radiation exposure
• 📊 Scientific data processing — converting instrument signals into fundamental knowledge about our planet and space
