The broadcast of images dedicated to the birthday of Leonov A.A. has been completed.

Last week, a commemorative image transfer (in SSTV format) took place to mark the birthday of Alexei Leonov, the first person to walk in outer space (on March 18th, 1965).

The Monitor-4 spacecraft, developed by the Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics, Moscow State University, and a number of other satellites under the Space-Pi program, conducted special broadcasts of schoolchildren's drawings.

For the SSTV broadcast in Kaliningrad, a master class on receiving images from space was organized by Vyacheslav Terentyev (R2FAL) - the leading expert at the EDB Fakel.

Further information can be found on the official website of the Space-Pi space science and education project.
