Results of the First Baltic Engineering and Space School

On November 2, the final launches of the First Baltic Engineering and Space School took place at an airfield located near Kaliningrad. This event brought together young talents from seven cities in the region, where 22 teams of students in grades 6-8 enthusiastically created their first working models of launch vehicles and spacecraft over the course of a week.

Under the guidance of experienced instructors from the "Aerial Engineering School," participants not only assembled and soldered their projects but also learned programming, which helped them understand the principles behind their models. In addition to the practical work, the students had the opportunity to attend lectures by leading specialists from the Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP MSU).

The organization of this significant event was made possible by the efforts of the staff from SINP MSU: V. Osedlo (Head of Radiation Monitoring Lab), S. Svertilov, V. Bogomolov, V. Radchenko, L. Yanin, and A. Bolban, who inspired young researchers to pursue further achievements.
