Space exploration starts at school!

Today, the small Spacecraft Control Center of the Skobeltsyn Nuclear Physics Institute, Moscow State University, welcomed high school students from different educational institutions in the Moscow region.

The guys actively and enthusiastically worked on the MATIZ-2 device, which enables the registration of particles.

Ksenia Zhukovskaya, Oleg Krivochev, Valery Fokin, Alexander Efimkin, Maksim Dubko were reviewing previously acquired images and data, designing electrical circuits, and optimizing the device. The team also performed debugging on the electronic components of the device and worked on software to analyze the received data. They calculated the characteristics of the device using computer modeling.
